The S-boom telescopic booms made by Genie have been outfitted with an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other types of aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight places during industrial and construction jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were unreachable by conventional jibs before. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables up and over reaching jobs to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform needs to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be elevated fully simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing both effectiveness and productivity.
