Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family company within the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
The company began crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru now produces and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for a variety of applications and there are units available to cover all construction needs.
Some models offer extremely flexible lifting options for businesses which are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both extremely adaptable and user friendly. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These types of cranes are specially designed to work in tight locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are located in close proximity to each other.
