Work and Head Lamps
There are specific standards in place by OSHA which require directional lighting on the truck if general lighting is less than 2 lumens per square foot. This makes sufficient lighting a safety requirement inside of darkened buildings or at night time.
Yale provides optional lights to meet the variety of client application needs. These options comprise LED options and halogen lighting options that are both designed in order to resist damaging effects of weather conditions, shock and vibration, while increasing visibility in low ambient light environments.
Operator Restraint Systems
In the event of a lift truck tip over, an operator restraint system could help the operator keep their torso and head inside the confines of the lift truck frame and overhead guard. Utilizing an operator restraint system properly can greatly lessen the possibility of serious injury from happening. Each one of the newer Yale lift trucks includes Hip Restraints and an Anti-Cinch Seat Belt as part of their standard equipment.
