To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty reefer containers and empty ISO standard containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment can expand. Any containers measuring over 40 feet must have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks also, electrical signal lights inside the cab, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
The ELME attachment is designed to deal with 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time. This simultaneous ability could be carried out with the containers stacked on top of each other. Furthermore, this type of attachment is available with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The extremely specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be accomplished.
Drive Train
Each unit of the Taylor container forklifts utilizes a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air after-cooled or charged air to air diesel engine. Several of the basic engine features include electronic maintenance and diagnostic monitor, engine/transmission protection, improved fuel economy, less overall emissions and fuel/water separator. Additionally, the available transmission for all 3 units is a fully reversing, 3-speed, power-shift, non-modulated transmission. It comes complete with inching capacity and remote shift control.
