Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New attachments and products are being engineered and developed all the time and would debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For instance, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
